I have always felt that it should be mandatory for actors to take classes in marketing, business and advertising. Unfortunately, actors load themselves up with the art of the craft. They graduate with degrees and certificates from various performing arts centers and universities, yet are not at all prepared to enter the world of Show Business. Should they be offered a job, they are prepared to perform. However, they are not at all prepared to seek the job offers, nor to ‘get in the door’.
The demand for a book to accompany my Marketing and Auditioning Program and the ever-increasing demand for a TV/Film Marketing Book for actors is what prompted me to write this book. I want to share my expertise, which is a product of a forty-year career in the business of entertainment.
